A Prayer About How You See Others

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Sometimes people really irritate me.
People make me angry.
They get on my nerves.
Sometimes I can't stand them.
I am sorry, Lord.
I know I should not feel these things.
Please help me.
Please help me see people the way you see them.
Please help me see the soul of others as a soul capable of beaming light and love.
Please help me see the beauty you see in others.
Please help me also see the beauty of my own soul because I do not think of myself as a beautiful person.
Forgive me if I hurt others in my blindness.
Forgive me if I do not see others in their beauty and capacity for love.
Help me see how what is on the outside of a person is not the real person.
Help me show others how much beauty they have so they will turn away from the corruption of their soul and turn to you.
Help me see others as your see them.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
