A Prayer For Humility And Simplicity

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
I know you are available to me this instant.
I know you are real and alive because I can touch you within my heart.
Lord, you know all about me.
In your mysterious ways, many which I do not understand, I know you reach out to me to guide me, direct me, encourage me, and inspire me.
I turn my heart and mind to you today.
In a humble way, I want to tell you that I love you.
I know you have all power over heaven and earth.
Help me to be a simple and humble person.
In humility, help me show others how much you love them.
My life is filled with needs and burdens, help me carry these burdens in humility and in your love.
My need for your touch of humility is never ending.
When I would want to go my own way, please direct me to your way.
When I want to stand back and look at my achievements, show me that all that I do is through you.
When I want to complete a task for myself, show me that all that I do, even the very breath I take, is because you will that I take it.
When I have doubts about whether you love me, remind me that you suffered and died for me.
Whatever your will is for me at any moment, let your will be done through me.
When I forget you, remind me of your love for me.
To you I give all praise, honor, and glory.
