Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
In the meanness of my world, touch my heart to be kind in your love.
In the rough language of my world, touch my heart to speak soft words of
kindness in your love.
When I am tempted to not be kind, remind me how kindness comes from love.
In the conflict of the world and in the conflict of my life, touch my
heart to speak words of kindness in your love.
When the influences of my life want me to choose hatred, touch my heart to
express words of kindness in your love.
In the power of your love, touch every heart to be more kind.
In the power of your love, touch every heart to turn the swords of war
into the plowshares of peace.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives within me and touches me,
