A Prayer About The Law Of God In Your
Heart
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I know what you want me to do.
I know who you want me to be.
I know what your will is for me most of the time.
Help me live out your law in my heart and be righteous.
Help me live out your law in my heart and be wise.
Help me live out your law in my heart and speak rightly and wisely in all
matters.
When I speak, help me speak in favor of righteousness.
When I speak, help me speak in favor of what is just.
May your law live in my heart because from your law blossoms abundant
life.
With your law in my heart, may I stand and have a sure footing so I do not
falter, slip, or fall.
Your law, the living law of my living God, shall reign in my heart so all
of what you want is what I want…so all of who you want me to be is who I
am.
When I say, read, and think the words of your law, may the words of your
law not just be a mindless repeating of scripture verses, not just a human
memory feat with your words, but a total living out of what you will for
me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
