A Prayer About Leadership

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
When I did not know my way, you came and led me to a place of quiet and rest.
When I was alone and my life was barren, you came to be with me and you poured your living water over me. My life blossomed like new flowers blossom in the spring because you loved me and you led me into your safe haven.
When I was attacked on every side, you came and shielded me and cared for me.
When I was outnumbered by my foes, you came and fought beside me as we won the victory.
When I was wounded, you came and bound up my wounds.
When I was in pain, you come and gave me comfort and you healed me.
When I was at risk of dying, you guarded me as the apple of your eye.
When I was small and weak, you came and like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, you spread your wings over me to protect me, to catch me, and carry me on your pinions.
You alone led me and no foreign god was with me.
Even into the days when my hair turns gray, my skin wrinkles and my vision fades, you will sustain me.
You have made me and you will carry me.
You will sustain me and you will rescue me.
You will guide me all of my days.
You will satisfy my needs in a sun-scorched land and you will strengthen my frame.
You will make my life like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
You are my God forever and ever.
You will be my guide and I will be your follower to very end of my life.
I exalt you, even in my feebleness and brokenness.
There is no one like you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
