A Prayer About Making A Sacrifice
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Thank you for being with me in every trial.
Some of the time, walking your path is easy.
Most of the time, walking your path is extremely difficult.
In walking your path, I have fallen down.
In walking your path, I have made wrong turns and mistakes without knowing
what I was doing.
In walking your path, I sometimes wonder if I can go on.
So if it is your will, give me your strength, hour by hour, and day by day
to sacrifice my all for you.
Protect those I pray for each day.
Give them the power to make the daily sacrifice to walk your path and
resist the temptation to always do what is easy.
In your love, help all of us look up to you in the hour of our
tribulation.
In your love, help all of us understand more about what it is you want us
to do and be.
In your love, help all of us actually do and be what you want us to do and
be.
When evil comes, give us your power so we may make every sacrifice to
defeat it.
When evil strikes, give us your power so we may make every sacrifice to
defend the defenseless.
When darkness rolls over our lives, give us your power to look above the
clouds and see your beaming rays of Light that shall someday lift us into
Heaven.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
