A Prayer For A Mighty Mission
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Thank you Lord, for always walking with me.
Thank you for always showing me the way of your truth.
Thank you for putting up with my mistakes, with my falling down, and with
my wanting to go my way instead of your way.
As much as I am able, I try to follow you and I try to follow your will.
According to your will, show me and remind me you have a mighty mission
for me.
When I am confused, rest your hand upon my shoulder, show me your vision
and show me your mission for my life.
When I am lost and I do not know the way, help me find you and help me
find my way back to your path for me.
When I have lost sight of your purpose for my life, help me know your
overpowering love and grace.
When I want to quit or give up, push me on until your goal is accomplished
through me.
According to your good will, show me your fields ready for the harvest.
Show me the needs, the hurts, and the wounds of those I see each day.
May your peace fall upon all those I touch.
May your love guide everything I say, think, and do.
May the mighty mission of my life be not so mighty according to the world
but may the mighty mission of my life be made great in humility, great in
love, and great in mercy for others.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
