A Prayer About Never Giving Up
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
In my trials, no matter where I am or what I must face each day, help me
never give up.
In my trials, help me maintain my vision of your suffering upon the cross.
In my trials, help me keep all the things I do each day in the shadow of
your sacrifice.
In my trials, help me surrender up all I am to you.
Empower me to do more for you than I can humanly do on my own.
Whenever I fail to be righteous, sting my conscience into doing only what
is right.
Whenever I fail to be righteous, hurt my heart so I will understand when
you want more from me than just my pretending to be good.
When others need a light for their path, enable me to be your child,
reflecting your love, reflecting your forgiveness, and reflecting your
compassion.
When others need me and count on me, empower me so I will be there for
them.
When others look at me, help me show them you are alive in my heart.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen
