Most Precious Lord Jesus…
Gentle And Wonderful God…
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
In my life and in the life of others there is sadness.
In my life and in the life of others there is grief and mourning.
In my life and in the life of others there is depression.
However, in my heart I know as surely as I know I am alive there will be day upon this earth when all this stinking garbage we have to live with in life will come to an end.
Yes, Lord, as I talk with you now, I proclaim my faith in you and I proclaim my faith in your return.
There are times when I think I cannot wait for you to come back any longer.
The world is in such a mess.
However, in my personal future, I know there is a new day just ahead.
Because I know you will return, I have a new hope within me every day.
I can imagine a new world where I can come and see you in Jerusalem.
I can imagine a new day when your glory will fill the earth.
I can imagine millions gathering to worship you.
I can imagine a day when there is no more mourning and no more sorrow.
Because I know you will come again, I look up into the heavens and not look down at the ground in dejection.
Because I know you will come again, I have hope burning within me for that glorious day.
All these things we humbly pray in the name of our most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, our Mighty God, and our Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom we can rely.
