A Prayer About Giving Our Life Precious
Lord, Wonderful Savior, Gracious Heavenly Father,
You died for me.
You died for me because you love me.
How can I fathom all your sacrifice means?
Every day, in all the moments of the day, let my heart be so open to your
sacrifice for me I will be willing to sacrifice my life for others.
Show me how the pain and suffering of my life is waiting to be taken into
your arms.
Show me all the things of my life I think are mine are really yours.
Show me how my life is precious only because it was created by you.
If need be, empower me to give my life for others whom you have created in
your image.
In all the ways possible to you, inspire me to surrender my life to you.
Let me give up my life to you because you gave up your life for me on the
Cross of Calvary.
I love you, O Lord.
I adore you, Precious One.
All these things I humbly pray.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit
who lives within me and touches me, Amen.
