A Prayer To Ask For Living Water

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I thirst for many things.
My body thirsts for things of the flesh.
My heart thirsts for things of the heart.
My soul thirsts for things of the soul.
Whenever I thirst, let me thirst only for your living water.
Let me thirst for your gift of life and love so divine.
Let me thirst for your gift of eternal life making all things of the earth fade away in the light of your glory and grace.
Whenever I am caught up in what is physical, let me then be reminded the physical shall pass away and only you and your love will remain forever.
In the war between what is physical and what is spiritual, help me bring you the victory by being spiritual in all matters and at all times.
You came to earth as a physical being bringing us spiritual truth, hope and love.
Let me be a witness to your power now and for all of my days upon the earth.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
