A Prayer About Our Choice In Christ
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I have a sinful nature.
My sinful nature haunts me.
My sinful nature comes after me and tries to take me down.
Before you, I tell the truth.
Before you, I am as honest.
Before you, I must be true.
My sinful nature is my enemy.
No matter how much I desire to do away with my sinful nature, I cannot
overcome my sinful nature.
However, I know because you died for me, a lowly sinner, I can still be a
victor in my life.
I know, in your love, I can be a conqueror over my sinful nature.
I am free because I live and work in you.
Never let me make excuses for how I act or how I think.
Never let me try and fool myself about my being a lowly sinner.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
