A Prayer About Our Cry For Hope
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Thank you for giving me thoughts I can carry with me.
Thank you for enabling me to think about the stars when I cannot see them
Thank you for enabling me to think about the clouds when I am indoors and
cannot see out.
Thank you for enabling me to have ideas in my mind.
In your grace and in your power, enable me to only have ideas that bless
you and bless the work you have given me to do.
When the light of your spirit is gone from me, bring me the idea of
twinkling stars on a cloudy night.
When the light of your spirit is gone from me, bring me the idea you are
still living within me even when I think you are gone.
When the light of your spirit is gone from me, show me your kingdom within
me with all your kingdom's unlimited potential and unlimited
possibilities.
When the light of your spirit is gone from me, show me your kingdom within
me with all your kingdom's unlimited tomorrows, unlimited opportunities,
and unlimited hope.
When the light of your spirit is gone from me, show me your kingdom within
me with all your kingdom's streams and lakes of refreshing living water of
which there is no equal here on earth.
When the light of your spirit is gone from me, show me your kingdom within
me with all your kingdom's gentleness and warmth.
When the light of your spirit is gone from me, show me your kingdom within
me with all your kingdom's joy, peace, and loveliness, even when the world
around me is joyless, at war, and ugly.
When the light of your spirit is gone from me, show me your kingdom within
me and show me how you are my great provider, my great defender, and the
person within me who makes my life come alive.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
