A Prayer To Pick Up Your Cross

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you Lord Jesus.
Thank you for the blessings you have poured out upon my life.
Keep me humble and give me your wisdom as I choose to carry your cross in suffering.
Remind me of the days of my deciding to follow you.
Keep my mind fresh upon those decisive moments.
Keep the fire of your love in my heart so I may endure all hardship for you.
Let me somehow endure all my pain and all my afflictions for your glory.
Let my life, my work, and my sacrifice be a treasure to you.
I know in my heart you are with me.
I know in my heart you are beside me, that you know my suffering, and you know my needs.
If I lose heart for carrying your cross, help me to be strong.
If I grow weak and weary from this burden I carry for you, undergird me and let the fire of your Spirit renew me.
May your blessings, power, and grace poured over me be a blessing to others.
Let no hardship come between us.
Let no trial separate us.
Let my life empower your kingdom on earth.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
