Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Someday I will see you.
Someday I will see heaven.
Someday all the glory and joy of heaven will be visible to me.
Someday I will become a part of all the glory and joy.
Right now, if it would be your will, I need just a little glimpse of the glory and joy of heaven.
Maybe you could show me an angle feather?
Maybe you could show me some of that heavenly mist?
Maybe you could pipe down some of the angel choir singing?
I don't even know what to ask for, do I Lord?
In the suffering of this life, I am too often blind and deaf to your glory and joy.
In your sweet will, keep me focused on working for you in the here and now rather than getting all worked up about seeing heaven.
There is too much work in the here and now for me to want heaven or even want a glimpse of heaven, isn't there?
Heaven will be mine soon enough.
Instead of a glimpse of heaven, give me a clear signal about where you want me to be and what you want me to do.
