A Prayer To Receive The Kingdom Of God

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you Lord Jesus.
Even when I am distressed and my mind is far away from you, there is a place within me that holds my love for you.
According to your will for me, open my mind and heart to you.
Make me your child so I may receive and believe like a child.
Take away my doubts, my fears, and my skepticism.
Erase the hurts that make me doubt and show me the truth about your reality.
Erase the fears and the anxieties I have acquired because I trusted others and was disappointed.
When your will is not what I want, give me a heart of acceptance.
When your will is not what I want, give me a heart of patience to accept what I have been given in humility and trust.
When your will is not what I want, help me to be strong and lean upon your power and see you next to me.
Show me your love so I may love you more.
Show me your grace so I can believe, and trust, and invest my whole heart in you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
