A Prayer About Seeing The Kingdom Of Heaven

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Thank you for giving me all the blessings of this life.
Thank you for bestowing upon me a great work to do.
Thank you for pouring your love over me in every circumstance.
In every trial, let me first think of you, O Lord, rather than myself.
In every fearful moment, let me first think of you, rather than myself.
In every moment of worry, let me cast all my cares upon you.
In every moment of doubt, let me think not of myself, but think of you and your heavenly home.
When my faith is strong and I feel secure, let me come close to you in a spirit of thanksgiving.
When my faith is weak and I am struggling to keep my head above water, help me to reach out to you and never doubt.
When the world and all of its attractions beckons me, help me to turn my eyes upon you and upon your suffering upon the Cross.
When I am hungry and thirsty, let me hunger and thirst for you and your love.
When I am poor and in deep fear over my plight, let me open my heart to you and help me to find comfort in your arms.
In all the moments of my life, let every moment be spent doing only your will and not my own.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
