A Prayer About A Softer Heart For God's Voice

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Very often, it seems I get too busy to listen for your voice.
Very often, it seems I am in too much stress to listen to you speak to me.
Very often, it seems I am in too much pain to hear you tell me you love me.
Lord, you know I talk to you a lot.
When I am busy, tap me on the shoulder, stop me for just a moment, soften my heart, and help me hear your voice.
When I am stressed out, please soften my heart, make me laugh, and open me up to your voice of love.
When I am in pain, please help me sail above my pain so I can hear you tell me to hang on a just little longer.
When I am in temptation, speak to me so your voice comes booming through to me as you give me your power to resist.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
