Prayer For Strength To Stop Seeking Love From People Incapable Of Loving Back

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
When I am with others who are incapable of giving and receiving love, do not let me be selfish like them.
Empower me so I am able to give to others without any expectation of receiving anything from them in return.
Never let me be selfish.
Help me put my innate weakness and selfishness at the foot of your cross.
In place of my weaknesses, put in me a heart leaning toward you and thinking about you.
In place of my weaknesses, put in me a heart to love and serve others no matter what they might think or how they might be
Place within me a heart giving love.
Place within me a heart full of love.
Inspire me to give all I am in your name and in your love.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
