Prayer To Deal With Not Feeling Love And
Approval From Your Parents
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Awesome God,
I am older now and I know I did not have the best home life.
I am older now and I know I did not have the best parent figures when I
was a youngster.
I was dependent upon my parents and they did not know how to show me love
and approval.
I grew up trying to get love and approval from others, sometimes in wrong
ways.
I grew up being afraid I would lose what little love and approval I had.
Precious Lord, help me heal.
Help me see you love me more in more healthy ways than I could ever know.
Pour your love and approval into my soul.
Show me in new and dramatic ways how you are always for me and never
against me.
Help me live in your truth, freedom, and love for all of my days upon the
earth.
Thank you, precious Lord Jesus, for loving me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of the most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, the Mighty God, and the Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom we can
rely. Amen
