A Prayer For Victory Over Circumstances
Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Thank you for the circumstances of my life.
Even when I cannot see past the present moment of devastation, thank you
for letting me live, breathe, and have my being through you.
I humbly ask you to give me power over circumstances that seem to defeat
me and over which it seems I have no power.
Empower me not to be a big person in the eyes of others, but empower me to
be humble before them and before you.
Empower me to overcome the difficulty of these present circumstances by
resting in your presence within my heart and life.
Empower me because I have so little power on my own.
Empower me with your wisdom to decide what to do when it seems all options
are gone.
Empower me with your vision to see past this present moment and see my
next moment full of your joy, your peace, and your encouragement.
Empower me with the certainty of victory in your name.
Empower me with the knowledge that what I see before me is not as it seems
but is an opportunity to serve you and be your humble child.
Empower me to reach out and touch those who do not know you and need you
in their lives.
Empower me to see, feel, taste, touch, and hear the power…the power of
you, O Lord, the power of your Name that is above all names, the power of
your thought that is above all thought, and the power of your presence we
call the Holy Spirit.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
