A Prayer For Victory Over Pain

Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
In these moments, when I am blinded and blindsided by this pain,
I proclaim you as my Savior and call for your mighty presence within my heart.
In these moments, when it seems I have lost you because of this pain,
I proclaim that you are with me even when I cannot experience your touch.
In every way possible, I call upon you to break through this evil barrier of dark pain that so afflicts me.
Let this foe of my body and soul be so vanquished by your love and your power that it shall be made into nothing.
Let the hurt of my body be erased by your touch upon my shoulder.
Let the emotional pain of my circumstance be eased by the healing love you pour over me each minute.
Let your hands that were nailed to the Cross for me be placed upon my body so I may overpower this pain.
Let your healing hands touch me help me not to be distracted by the pain but be consumed by the overpowering love you have for me.
Let this pain be a reminder to me of how much you love me.
Let this pain be a reminder to me of how much work there is to be done in your name.
Let me be humbled by this hurt.
Let me, if it is your will, use this painful moment to your glory.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
