A Prayer About Victory That Is At Hand

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
In spite of earthly defeat that appears certain, yours is the victory.
In spite of earthly darkness, it is your light that turns the darkness into the brightness of the noonday sun.
In spite of the overwhelming doom that can envelop me, it is your hope that flows down from heaven and fills my heart.
In the grim realities of my world, I can see over the horizon and see your smiling face waiting for me.
In what appears to be defeat here and now, I can see your victory in the next hour.
As I turn old, gray, and feeble, your strength comes to me.
Your love and the outpouring of your grace bless my life.
Just ahead, just a short time away, I can see I have a new life and a new place to live…all filled with your glory and your grace.
May your message, your vision, and your hope for my life be a present and on-going reality every day of my life.
May I see the eternal nature of my life and may I see your healing hands surrounding me and enfolding me, even in my darkest hour.
Never let me miss the power of your love.
Never let me miss the forgiveness you pour over me.
According to your good will, always help me see my life is never over.
Always help me see that although my body may die, my soul lives on.
May I always be able to be your humble child so I may live in your will and in your heaven forever and ever.
