A Prayer About The Wages Of Sin And The Gift Of God
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
All around me I see the death caused by sin.
All around me I see the consequences sin has put upon the lives of people
I know.
In my heart, I can see how the sin in my life causes others to die.
I also see how your calling upon my heart gives me life in the here and
now as well as eternal life in my world to come.
In the darkness, I see your wonderful light.
In the darkness, I feel your light and love wrapping all around me.
In the darkness, I know your light and love will wrap around me until
there comes a day when I live fully and completely in your light and love
in heaven.
In every way I can express, I say thank you to you, my blessed Lord Jesus.
I say thank you to you for dying for me so I can live and grow with your
light and love wrapped around me now and later when I get to live in
eternal joy.
You have set me free.
You have given to me what I could never make, build, or configure on my
own.
Because of your sacrifice for me, I have a way to heaven.
Because of your sacrifice for me, I can live forever in paradise.
Because of your sacrifice for me, I have hope for today and tomorrow.
Because of your sacrifice for me, I see your beauty, peace, and freedom
for me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
