Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
In the war for my soul, precious Lord, let me always be on your side.
In the war for my soul, let me always fight evil by being forgiving and
kind, even when I am attacked.
In the war for my soul, let me always fight evil by expressing love in the
face of hate.
In the war for my soul, let me always fight evil by giving rather than
taking.
In the war for my soul, let me always fight evil by proclaiming you as
Savior and Lord, even when the world has given up hope you are still alive
in Heaven.
In the war for my soul, let me always fight evil when I am cheated by
being fair and even handed in all matters.
In the war for my soul, let me always fight evil by being tough-minded and
totally unrelenting in doing your will as I live out my faith in you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
