A Prayer About When We Falter

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Things are in such disarray.
So many things have spun out of control in my life.
I have let circumstances slip away from me and things are not going well at all.
I am sorry Lord, for I have faltered.
I did not mean to let go of my control over things.
It just seems like trouble has taken on a life of its own and then I get behind.
I am so sorry Lord.
Please forgive me.
Let me not sit in self-pity.
Let me not sit in dejection.
Lift up my eyes to see you, Precious Lord Jesus.
Keep me honest and keep me true to your will for my life.
Keep me strong so I can rebuild what I have lost.
Keep me strong so I can be humble, devout, and caring.
Keep me in the palm of your hand and remind me of your love.
Keep me with you and please do not let me permit things to slip away in the future.
Keep me focused upon tomorrow rather than upon what is already past.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
