A Prayer About Willfully Choosing

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Do not let me be immature.
Do not let my free will be moved about by the tides and winds of the moment.
Imbue in me an iron will to be self-controlled and self-disciplined.
Show me I have an overt choice about nearly every facet of my life and all the destinations within my life.
Use my free will to give way to your will with a willingness to work, a willingness to share, a willingness to love, and a willingness to be a part of the good of your creation.
Help me be mature and be willing to be your child as I seek the power to be mature in your love.
Help me tame the dark part of my nature so my free will is used as a blessing for you and for the work you have for me to do.
Help me control my free will by giving over my free will to your will for me.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
