A Prayer About The Willingness To Be A Suffering Servant

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Lord, sometimes I get upset with you.
Lord, sometimes I am angry at you for not giving me what I think I need.
Please forgive me.
Forgive me, for I know in my heart and mind what you give me is not as important as what I give you.
In every moment of pain and sorrow, may I first think of you and then think of others rather than myself.
In every moment of grief and loss, may I first think of you and then think of others rather than myself.
In every moment when I am under attack by Satan and his evil minions, may I first think of you and then think of others rather than myself.
My life would be nothing without your love pouring down over me.
My life would be nothing without the burdens you give me, burdens I try to carry in your name.
I give you praise and honor this day, for you have not called me to be healed but you have called me to heal others in prayer, healed in your name and by your grace.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
