About a time of peace…

Acts 9:31 Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace. It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord. (NIV)

Many parts of the world are in a state of war. Somewhere in the world, there is always war. Within the raging heart of many persons across the globe, there is raging hatred. In nearly every city there is crime and violence borne out an inner war within the soul. The world needs peace. Most of all, the world needs you to be an instrument of peace. Let peace begin with you. Within your heart, let peace reign. Within your heart, let all the inner wars stop. Send out signs of peace to others. When the evil one comes and wants you to do battle over little things, turn to Christ hanging on the cross and pray for peace. If everyone around the world would turn to peace rather than war, we could enter into a new era of peace.
