Isaiah 58: 9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. (NIV) Just about everyone asks God to give answers to questions. Most questions we send to God already have an answer in our heart we just do not want to admit we know the answer. Other questions we have for God have already been answered in God's Holy Word. Other questions have their answer in how nature and life are organized and these answers are available to us if we just search a little. However, not all questions we give to God will get an answer. Some questions for God are questions that run deep into His ways, His reasoning, and His plans for which His answer must remain hidden from us. When you pray for an answer and the answer does not come, remember that God may need to keep secret some things we think we need to know. Perhaps God needs to keep some things secret from us to benefit us and to help us grow up and mature into the full person He always wants us to be. |
