About The Promise Of Being A Part Of God’s Family…

We all belong to someone or something. We belong to a family, a group, a company, an agency, a race, a club or organization. We all want to belong. Wanting to belong is an innate human trait as it is also a trait in some animals that stay in groups. If we want to, we can belong to God. If we want to we can be a child in the family of God. Every day we are pushed, pulled, and shoved by the forces of our environment. Some of those forces push us away from God and His family. In God’s family, God is the big Father who is always kind, always caring, always loving. He will never desert you nor forsake you. No matter how grim things can get on the outside your life, you have a place within you called the Kingdom of God, and in that place you always belong to God and God's family.
