A Daily Devotional This Devotional Is Part Of A Special Continuing Series Related To Dependency And Co-dependency Issues. Rules Of Godly Common Sense Apply. About being afraid of making mistakes, Part 2 Of 2… Psalms 119:73 Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn your commands. (NIV) Throughout time, if humans had quit everything at their first mistake, no civilizations would have arisen. Worst of all, God would never have been glorified in any way. If everything had stopped at The Fall then God's desire to see human beings grow and develop would have remained unfulfilled. In your own life, when you are paralyzed by the fear of making mistakes then you will never be who God wants you to be. God did not make you to make mistakes. However, He understands more than anyone how you make them. God also understands you must keep on keeping on after you make a mistake. He understands you must keep going until you learn how to recover from your mistakes and keep going, and keep going, and keep going, until you learn what He wants you to learn from the mistake. With regard to making mistakes, it isn't what your want, it is what He wants for you and from you that should drive you forward whether you make mistakes or not.
