About being at the foot of the Cross…

Revelation 16:14 They are (the evil) spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. (NIV)

Mark 7:21 For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and make a man `unclean.' "(NIV)

In your everyday life, evil forces infect people all around you. You are not immune from these attacks of satanic temptation. You, along with every human being on earth, are warmly invited by Satan to freely partake of the sins in verse 21 above. To resist Satan's power, to build an armament against the sure darkness lurking around you, every hour kneel at the Cross. Every day, at least for a few minutes, in your heart, in your thoughts, and in your mind, kneel at the foot of the Cross. To resist the power of darkness and live in the Light of His love, never leave the foot of the Cross. When you are kneeling at the Cross of Calvary you do not need signs, wonders, and dazzling displays of power because you have Christ's infinite love.
