(NIV) It is often extremely hard to keep pushing on. Life is hard. Life is difficult. For some people, perhaps for you, life may seem impossible. What is most striking is that life seems impossible for more people than you know. Because life is so difficult, we all need encouragement. We all need encouragement from God and we all need to encourage each other. To encourage others, do not be negative and discouraging. Encourage your fellow believers in Christ to keep believing. Encourage unbelievers to trust in Christ. Encourage others to live a godly and righteous life. Encourage others to resist evil, darkness, sin, and temptation. Encourage others to encourage still others. Encourage others to be kind and generous. No matter whom a person is or their position in life…be an encouragement. There is a special power that stays with the person who is an encouragement. The special power is the power of God.
