John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Do you believe you deserve eternal doom? Do you believe you should be kept out of heaven for eternity? God made the good earth good. God made you to inherit His good earth and inherit the goodness of life. Indeed, we are all sinners. Persons who do not repent pay a terrible price for not repenting. However, when we turn to Christ in repentance, Christ then wants us to inherit the goodness and happiness found in His kingdom on the earth and in heaven. If God did not want us to be happy, He would not have created heaven. When we continually believe we do not deserve good things and happiness, we end up making ourselves grossly unhappy. God made you to be more, not less. God made you to be a person of vision, hope, and power in His glory. If you believe you do not deserve good things and happiness, then the hope Christ brought to earth for you gets thrown away because of your belief about your not deserving good things and happiness.
