Previous Daily Devotional About bringing love into being… Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (NIV) Human beings have been creating from the dawn of the human race. Our minds, intellect, and imagination have produced incredible works in art, invention, literature, and technology just to name a few areas of human endeavor. The fact we have creative ability and we call God our Creator is no coincidence. We are made in the image of God so we are like Him in some ways, especially in our ability to create. When we create, we can, in a manner of speaking, "bring love into being." The words "bringing love into being" is a figure of speech because we cannot create love. As creative as people are, we cannot create love. We can "bring love into being" in our conscious mind by thinking about God. Love existed before time existed because God is love. In all the trials and problems of our life, we need love to sustain us and keep us going. In all our trials and problems, we can "bring love into being" by kneeling at the foot of His cross.
