A Daily Devotional

You might think you walk the path of life alone. You might think you are the only person who cares about what you face each day. Whether you live a solitary life or whether your life is filled with daily interactions with others, you need to build the right kinds of spiritual alliances. All persons walk a solitary path through life. As we walk our solitary path we are engaged in a spiritual war between the Light and the darkness. As we move through life, we too often mistakenly give in to the darkness. Remarkably, we often give in to the darkness when we are just inches away from being a victor for Christ. When you dedicate yourself to living in alliance with Christ you experience victory. When you move in God's direction, and move according to His will, there will be a great outcome in your life. We may sometimes think there is no real outcome in being allied with Christ. However, we must look at the life of those who do not know Christ. In the life of those who do not know Christ there is inner turmoil, torment, and emotional conflicts raging within the person every hour. When you build your life around Christ and His love, for you there is peace…a wonderful and glorious peace that passes all understanding on earth.
