Previous Daily Devotional About the burden of doubt… Mark 4:40 He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" Doubt is such a big burden to bear. Doubt is such a big burden to carry. Doubt tells us there may not be a tomorrow. Doubt tells us if there is a tomorrow then the tomorrow will be full of darkness and trials. Doubt robs us of our present by taking away our hope for tomorrow. Doubt is the great dark force of skeptics who refuse to believe. Doubt is the killer of faith and doubt comes into our heart and mind from the great slayer of humankind. The power of God and the power of Christ are available to every person in every circumstance if we believe and if we do not doubt. Faith is the opposite of doubt. Faith is the opposite of unbelief. Faith requires you take a chance and believe. Faith requires you give up your doubt and take a chance maybe all those words Jesus spoke and all those words in the Bible are not just true but absolutely true. Each of us must remember, if all those words in the Word of God are absolutely true, then we have spiritual power to last the rest of our lifetime. Because those words in the Word of God ARE absolutely true then we have a spiritual power to keep us going until we are picked up and carried to Heaven after our last moment on earth arrives.
