About Christ being a part of who you are…

Luke 24:28 As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus acted as if he were going farther. 29 But they urged him strongly, "Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over." So he went in to stay with them. (NIV)

Christ will never reject you or abandon you. If you invite Christ into your life, He will come in to be with you and live with you forever. Christ will always be faithful with you and no matter what trials you face, He will be with you to guide you, help you, and support you. Inviting Christ into your life changes everything in your life. Christ is the living God and He will not be moved away from loving you and caring about you. Having the living God in your life gives you a power greater than your own power. The power of God is a faithful power…a power that will not fade away. Having the living God in your life gives you a reason to live no matter what you must face each day. When slights and hurts come your way, because Christ is a part of who you are, you can and must forgive the slights and hurts so you can move on to greater things. When Christ is a part of who you are, Christ enables you to forget about the hurts of the past by helping you focus upon the future.
