Christmas Daily Devotional About seeing God as a real human being… We cannot
see God as He is, living in heaven. No one living today has seen Christ as a
physical person. However, there is no more powerful image of Christ than the
image of Him in the manger. The power of Christ in His manger has endured for
two thousand years. Any physical image we have of Christ is not as important as
the idea Christ is, was, and will always be a real live person. Christ as a real
live person came to earth in human form, lived, was crucified, died on the cross
for each of us, and rose again on the third day. God could have come up with an
appearance of Christ in some form other than a real live person. However, Christ
as a person, much like us, was the best way for God to tell us He loves us.
Although we cannot physically see Him now, we shall see Him later when we ascend
to heaven. We have a real live human being in Christ, waiting for us, waiting to
welcome us into eternity in joy, peace, and love.
