You are mighty, O Lord, and your faithfulness surrounds you. 9 You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them. 10 You crushed Rahab like one of the slain; with your strong arm you scattered your enemies. 11 The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it. 12 You created the north and the south; Tabor and Hermon sing for joy at your name. 13 Your arm is endued with power; your hand is strong, your right hand exalted. 14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you. 15 Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord. (NIV) When we see Christ lying in the manger, we have a reason to praise God with all of our heart, soul, and mind. At Christmastime, we live in a spirit of praise and thanksgiving for His birth and for the new life He brings to each of us. During the Christmas season of the year, we more easily sense the divine spark of Christ's divine love in our life and we come to see we are to praise Him with their life. During the Christmas season, as well as at all other times of the year, we are to praise God with our life. We praise God with our life by giving love, caring, compassion, and forgiveness at all times of the year. At all times of the year we are to praise God by loving Him and loving others. No matter how many gifts we give away, if we are giving love, then we are truly praising Him. Christ came to us as a blessing. We should live our life so our life is a blessing to all the people we know and a blessing to God. All the people you know need to see your life of praise and thanksgiving. All the people you know need to see your heart and life in a spirit of praise…the same spirit of praise you feel when you hold the little baby Jesus.
