Christ's healing hand of power… Matthew 9:25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. (KJV) We are all imperfect. We all have spots and blemishes. We all make mistakes. We all hurt. Most of us suffer pain, heartbreak, and loneliness. Most of us are weak and heavy-laden. However, we have a healing hand reaching out to us. We have the healing hand of Jesus reaching out to us to help us come back from the trials we face every day. What we must soak in, what we must try to take in, is the fact the hand of Jesus reaching out to us has scars. What we must try to take in is the hand reaching out to us has scars put upon that hand by something we did. We crucified Him. We tortured Him to death. We killed Him. We murdered Him. We made Him suffer as no one else has suffered. Yet, almost unimaginable in human terms, He came back to heal us, to restore us, and to forgive us. If you kneel down at the foot of His cross in holy contrition…if you kneel down at the foot of His cross utterly destroyed because of what you have done and utterly destroyed because of who you are…then He will touch you with His healing hand of power. He will restore you. He will make you into a new person. He will give you a new life, and He will give you eternity.
