Christ’s healing scars… Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds. (NIV) Heartbreak is a part of life. Heartbreak is a cruel part of life nearly all of us must undergo. If we tell the full and total truth, we are often broken people. If we tell the full and total truth, we are often wounded people. However, in God’s hands, your heart will be healed. In God’s hands, your heart will be mended. To heal your heart, God needs no medicine from a pharmacy. To heal your heart, God needs no therapy given by a licensed therapist. To heal your heart, God needs no special treatment administered by a machine. In God’s hands, hope abounds for the healing of your heart. Hope flows down from God and in that hope you go beyond hope to a place of certainty, to a place of fully knowing, to a place where God’s love is so real and so profound there is no question about His healing power. What is most profound of all is the most wonderful fact that when God heals, there is no scar. When our Lord’s nail-scarred hands touch us, He erases our scars with His.
