Previous Daily Devotional About Christ's kindness, forgiveness, and compassion… Matthew 9:36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (NIV) Jesus sees you. All the time you are alive on this earth, you are being watched over by Jesus. When He sees you every hour of the day and night, He does not watch you like an unbiased observer. Jesus does not watch you like you would watch a boring television program. Christ does not just stand back and watch you. Jesus is involved in your life, even when you may not care about Him. Jesus watches over you with a yearning in His heart for you to be righteous, holy, godly, devout and loving. Jesus watches over you and His eyes are full of kindness, forgiveness, and compassion for you. When Jesus sees you do something wrong, He sees you and understands more about why you did something wrong than you could ever know. When Jesus sees you do something wrong, He sees you with eyes full of forgiveness. So full of forgiveness are Jesus' eyes, if you ask Him to forgive you, He erases all your wrongs and He forgets as no human being could ever forget. Jesus sees you and wraps His compassion and love around you every second.
