Previous Daily Devotional About
cleaning up the mess we make… Isaiah 63:10 Yet they rebelled and
grieved his Holy Spirit. So he turned and became their enemy and he himself
fought against them. Some people have a way of messing up their lives. It seems some people can not help but turn things upside down no matter how hard they try. Some people lead lives going in the opposite direction of God. When anyone goes in the opposite direction of God, bad things will happen. Aren't there enough bad things happening in the world without our piling on and adding to the mess we typically make on our own? In addition, people can make God their enemy. To clean up the mess we make in our life we must remember God does not want to be our enemy. However, when we grieve Him and we do the opposite of what He wants us to do, just as a consequence of what we do, we will have a big mess to clean up from the mess we make in our life. We have to want to be in tune with God. We have to want to be on the same page with God. We have to want to be going in God's direction. When we are going in God's direction, His will is at our back pushing us onward. When we have God's will pushing us onward, we have truly made friends with God. The people who go in God's direction have an extra power in their life pushing them ahead. The people who go in God's direction have an extra power to clean up their mistakes when they make a mistake. |
