About the comfort of God Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. (NIV) Sometimes in life there is grief and sorrow. Sometimes it seems the grief and sorrow in life never end. However, we have a caring and compassionate Shepherd who cares for us and who looks out for us. Although Jesus is not visible to our naked eye, we can still see Him with our heart. In our times of grief and sorrow, He is with us. He is with all those who need Him and who seek Him. He comforts all those who are grieving if they turn to Him. For the coming sorrows of the future, we know He will be with us. For those who grieve in the present, our prayers and our love brings Him closer to them. The terrible hurt of those who grieve does not go without His notice. The hurt of the grieving is always within His tender touch. In every heart that hurts, there lives the Door who opens to the place where angels live. In every heart that hurts, there lives the Door who opens to supernatural glory and grace. In every heart that hurts, there lives the Door who opens to a Light that shines on every tomorrow. Through our tears, we can see through the Door into spiritual realms where no tears are ever shed. Through our tears, we can see through the Door to our future home. We do not often know how and why God works as He does, but we can testify that when our lives are filled with rain, He brings the sun. We can testify that when we are empty He brings His fullness. We can testify that when we are lonely, He is present. |
