Previous Daily Devotional About
coming back against the impossible… Romans 5:3 .Not only so, but we also
rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
4 perseverance,
character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not disappoint
us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom
he has given us. (NIV) All of us, at various points in our daily life, must confront what seems to be an impossible circumstance or an impossible situation. When we face what seems to be impossible, we must first have the determination to come back against the impossible. Without determination and resolve, what seems to be impossible now, most likely will remain impossible for us in the future. When we have the determination to come back against what seems impossible now, we make the possible more likely in the future. To come back against the impossible, you must also have mental focus and a mindset to not let the impossible get you down and discouraged. To win out or come back against the impossible, your mind must be totally focused and not distracted away by what seems to be a circumstance you cannot control. To come back against the impossible requires you have a clearly visible goal before you. When your goal is to come back against the impossible, every effort, even the effort that seems to fail, is a victory. To come back against the impossible, you must have a reason to live, breathe, and attack the impossible. When you have faith in God, God gives you the power to come back against the impossible. When you have faith in God, God gives you the determination to fight back against your adversity. With faith, God gives you a mental focus and mindset to live as Christ has called you to live and not be distracted by the darkness or be distracted by sinful temptation. When you are faithful to God, He gives you a goal, the goal of humble service for your Savior. In addition, God gives you a reason to live, a reason to love others, and a reason to lift up His name no matter how impossible things seem to get. With faith in God, what is impossible now may be possible in the next moment here and now or later in Heaven
