About confession before God…
"Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of
your fathers, and do his pleasure:" Ezra 10:11 (KJV)
You live in a world full of sounds, noise, and voices. You
are bombarded daily by talk, talk, talk. You may feel that no one listens to you or hears
you and you may be right. Not only do others not hear you, they also do not understand
you. But God always hears you and He understands you. God understands you better than you
understand yourself. Your Father in Heaven always has time to listen, to care, and to
reach out and touch your life. Your part in this relationship with God is to talk to Him.
Talk to God and pour out all that is in you. Pour out your doubts about Him, pour out your
difficulties in believing, pour out your struggles with your faith. When you do this
confession thing before your God, God will laugh within you because He rejoices in the
truth. And when God laughs within you, you feel His joy, His warmth, and His mighty
strength.
