Previous Daily Devotional About the consequences of being a noble person… Isaiah 32:8 But the noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands. (NIV) A noble person is admirable, a person of merit, and a person who is beneficial to the society or the community. The kind of person we are, whether we are a person of nobility or a scoundrel starts in our heart. The plans we make, the objectives we want to achieve, the things we want in life start at the very center of our heart. When we have the love of Christ at the center of our heart, then we want only those things that are Christ-like. Our hopes and dreams, our innermost desires, and our plans are the foundation of our future. When we only think of ourselves we are caught in a dark trap and our only escape is surrendering all we are and all we have to Christ. Our noble deeds done in the name of Christ, not the dark deeds done in selfishness for ourselves, give us a firm foundation for our life.
