the consequences of trusting and believing… John 14:1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. (NIV) Hoping Christ is the Savior is not the same thing as believing Christ is the Savior. Really believing Christ is the Messiah has life changing consequences. However, to get to those life changing consequences means we must take a big risk and believe. The consequence of not believing Christ is the Savior is an eternal disaster. The consequence of believing is eternal life in heaven. To believe Christ died for you without seeing requires trust. If your trust has been violated too many times, you must take one more chance and trust in Christ. Christ never violates anyone's trust or violates their life. Christ does not come into your life without your invitation. Remarkably, Christ wants you to unburden your life by trusting in Him. Christ wants you to act on the chance He exists and act on the chance He is real. Christ wants to comfort you and hold you close. Christ has been with you all of your life and if you trust Him, He is and will be real for you.
